About Labl
A local-to-global system for better fashion.
Labl Group brings people, nature and technology into practical cooperation—so brands can grow while farmers, workers, artisans and rural enterprises share in the value created.

Who we are
Private enterprise with a social purpose.
LABL GROUP EAST AFRICA LTD is a privately held Kenyan company and social enterprise, incorporated on 20 December 2019. It is an integral part of Labl Fashion Group B.V. in the Netherlands.
Our commercial purpose is to provide high-quality, socially sustainable fashion production to small and medium fashion brands, allowing them to focus on customers and growth. Our wider purpose is to build an accountable value chain in which farmers, workers, artisans and local entrepreneurs participate meaningfully.
A planet-positive fashion industry powered by regenerative supply, fair production and radical transparency.
Build and operate an integrated East African value chain that delivers responsible materials, ethical work, flexible production, traceability and equitable market participation.
An East African seed-to-garment production platform for brands seeking dependable, responsible, flexible and verifiable manufacturing.

Our place
Built from rural Kenya outward.
In 2020, Labl acquired a six-acre property at Sagalla in Voi, Taita Taveta County. The site now includes a sewing facility, electricity connection, a demonstration farm and a borehole awaiting equipping. It sits at the foot of Sagalla Hill, close to the communities the model is designed to serve.
From January 2027, a leased marketing and executive office in Westlands, Nairobi connects the rural operating base to customers, governance, finance, talent and institutional partners.

Tourism and learning
Our place is part of the value proposition.
The Sagalla site can help visitors understand how a garment is connected to land, skills, people and place. Future experiences combine the working facility, regenerative demonstration, locally guided Sagalla Hill hiking, community knowledge, local meals and heritage.
The visitor programme will be introduced only through community agreements, trained hosts, safe routes, licensing, fair payments and clear photography and safeguarding rules.

How we grow
Integration follows proof.
Labl Fashion begins with responsible suppliers, then integrates more of the value chain only when demand, finance, capability, environmental safeguards and quality systems are ready.
Source responsibly
Qualified garments, fabrics, components and services with specifications, due diligence and traceability.
Grow and aggregate
Labl Farms supports regenerative cotton, farmer services, aggregation and approved organic-dye crops.
Process fibre
Ginning is commissioned after viable volumes, markets, finance and operating controls are secured.
Make our fabrics
Labl Fashion establishes weaving and knitting, then dyes and finishes fabrics using approved Labl Farms dyes.
Complete the loop
Finished garments carry traceability and circular return pathways for repair, reuse, repurposing and recycling.
