Community institutions reduce coordination costs while preserving choice and land control.
Self-help groups
Up to 100 households may organise as a voluntary service and voice unit for sensitisation, training, records, safeguards and collective problem-solving.
Production clusters
Several SHGs may form a mapped cluster targeting at least 500 acres where locally feasible. The threshold is not an assumed holding per farmer.

Labl Farms leads agricultural mobilisation, research and field delivery. The model combines farmer choice, locally tested agronomy, soil and water stewardship, livelihood diversification and transparent records.
Mobilise and consent
Communities receive clear information on crops, risks, land use, data, markets and participation. Farmers join voluntarily through practical local structures.
Baseline and plan
Plots, soil, water, biodiversity, household context and production history are mapped. Extension plans respond to local conditions rather than applying one universal package.
Learn by demonstration
Demonstration plots and farmer field learning test rotations, intercropping, soil cover, organic inputs, integrated pest management and climate adaptation.
Aggregate and improve
Quality, volumes, payments and outcomes are documented. Field results guide research, buyer engagement and the next production cycle.
